EMPLOYERS ABILITY TO PAY QUESTIONED- MR. GEHI SUCCEEDS IN THE APPROVAL OF THE I-140 PETITION
After unsuccessfully seeking the legal counsel of several attorneys, a client approached Mr. Gehi regarding a complex Request for Evidence in connection with an I-140 petition (Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker). One of the major issues from the USCIS was in connection with the employer's ability to pay for the past 7 years. The employer did not present very good income and expense figures on his tax returns throughout the past 7 years. Mr. Gehi reviewed the matter and submitted the necessary evidence along with a memorandum of law contending very strongly that the I-140 should be approved despite the low figures on the tax returns. Immigration thoroughly reviewed Mr. Gehi's memorandum and the client's I-140 was approved in less than two months! At this time the client has received his green card.
