Vaishali Chaudhuri is one of the senior paralegals in the law firm. She is mainly responsible for the employment based visa processing in the firm which includes PERM,I-140, H1B, L1, J1, NIW, EB1, O1, Nurse visa etc. Vaishali has completed her schooling from Lamartiniere for Girls, Calcutta, one of the premier private schools of India. She went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in History from Presidency College, Calcutta, and her Masters degree in History from Calcutta University. Vaishali also is an exponent in the ancient Indian classical temple dance form of Bharathanatyam and teaches in the New York area and has performed at the United Nations HQ in New York, Carnegie Hall (Festival of India) among others.

 

Nashwati Nirahu

Nashwati Nirahu graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, with a Minor in Sociology. At the Law Offices of N.M. Gehi, P.C., Nashwati has assisted in the preparation and success of numerous deportation cases. She currently serves as the Office Liason for the West Indian Community, and Paralegal.

Anthony Tse

Anthony Tse is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice having obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies. Prior to enrolling to John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Anthony participated in New York University Law program which focused on constitutional and criminal law. Mr. Tse has been with the Law offices of N.M Gehi for approximately two (2) years and serves as the firm Paralegal and Bankruptcy Manager. He has assisted with the filing of over a thousand bankruptcy cases which successfully resulted in the discharged of debtors in tough financial situations.

 

Sehr Malik
Paralegal

Sehr Malik obtained a Bachelor of Science in Politics, Economics, and Law from Old Westbury College of Politics. As an undergraduate, she studied numerous aspects of law including, but not limited to, real estate law, litigation, marriage, and family law. She also participated in the PEL club for law students and completed many projects relating to criminal justice. Additionally, Sehr served as the head of the debate team in her criminal justice class, and took part in numerous food drives and disaster relief programs. At the Law Offices of N.M. Gehi, P.C., Sehr serves as an Administrative Assistant and Paralegal.

 

 

Kathleen Herr
Paralegal

Kathleen Herr joined the firm in March of 2010. Ms. Herr is awaiting admission to the New York State Bar Association after successfully passing the New York State Bar Exam. After obtaining her B.A. from Stony Brook University with a major in Political Science concentrating in International Relations and Government; Ms. Herr received her J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law center. While in law school Ms. Herr was a member of the Touro Law Arbitration Team participating in the ABA regional competition and a Regional Competitor in the ABA Client Counseling competition. Ms. Herr was also a Charles H. Revson Public Interest Fellow and Touro Law Center Public Interest Fellow. Ms. Herr was awarded the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in International Human Rights/Immigration Litigation Clinic. She maintains special interest in the areas of immigration and criminal law.
