Naresh Menghraj Gehi Senior Attorney
Naresh Gehi is an immigration attorney licensed to practice law in the Eastern and Southern District of New York and in the State of Connecticut. He is also admitted to the Court of Appeals. He is the founder-partner of Gehi & Associates. Naresh holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Georgia and was employed by former administrative judge, Jeffrey M. Gottlieb, Esq., for approximately six years. During his employment with Mr. Gottlieb, Atty. Gehi learned the art of dealing with complicated immigration cases, including H-1Bs, Labor Certifications, I-140s, I-485s, deportation proceedings and family-based petitions. Additionally, Atty. Gehi maintains an active trial practice, specializing in arguing complex deportation cases. One of Atty. Gehi’s most arduous cases involved a client whose name and birth date matched that of a suspected terrorist. Mr. Gehi won the case against the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which led to the client successfully obtaining a green card. Attorney Gehi is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is very active with AILA’s corporate committee. Attorney Gehi has also appeared on the “Ask the Experts” panel of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, where he answered questions on immigration laws.
